A description of a wedding planning app that is being built, and a form for hearing about it when it opens. The screens shown here are the real interface, filled with a made-up wedding for a couple who do not exist.

It gets you one email when Wedding Helper opens. It is not an account, not a booking, and not a promise of a place — and it costs nothing and commits you to nothing. You can leave at any time, from any email we send.

We have not said when Wedding Helper will open, and nothing here should be read as a date.

This is the commitment the whole product is arranged around, so it belongs here rather than only in marketing copy. Every planning tool is free for couples:

• No guest limits, and no premium checklist.
• No paying to plan with your partner.
• No paid access to your own seating chart, budget or documents.
• No advertising interrupting your planning.

Suppliers pay to be part of the marketplace. That is where the money comes from, and it is the reason couples never have to be the product.

Also worth stating before there is anything to sell. Whether a supplier can appear at all is a commercial question. Where they appear among the ones that can is not — that is decided by whether they fit your wedding: where you are marrying, your date, your budget, the kind of thing you are looking for.

There is no way to buy a higher position, because we have not built one. If we ever show something because it was paid for, it will say so plainly and it will not be mixed in with the rest.

Real terms of service arrive with accounts, and they will cover the things that only matter once you have a wedding in here — what you are responsible for, what we are, and what happens if either of us stops. They will be written to keep the promises above rather than to quietly walk them back.

Wedding Helper is operated by Adverb Limited, a company registered in New Zealand. The product is global; the company has to be somewhere.
