One thing: the first name and email address you type into the waiting-list form. Nothing else on this site asks you for anything.

The name is used to address the email. The address is used to send it. That email goes out once, when Wedding Helper opens.

We do not ask for your wedding date, your location, your budget or your guest count, and the form would reject them if they were sent. None of it is needed to send one email, and collecting it before you have an account would build a list of couples for suppliers to buy, which is the thing we have committed not to do.

• No analytics. No page-view tracking, no session recording, no advertising pixels.
• No cookies. This site sets none at all.
• No third-party requests. Fonts are served from this domain, not from Google.
• No selling, renting or sharing your address with anyone, suppliers included.

Three things, all stored on your own device and none of them sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data removes them.

• Whether you chose Light, Dark or Auto.
• That you joined the waiting list, and the address you used, so you are not asked twice.
• The sample wedding, if you have been clicking around the demo. It is made-up data.

Being straight about an unfinished thing: there is no database behind this site yet. Until there is, the waiting-list form tells you it could not save your address rather than accepting it into nothing.

If it told you that you are on the list, something recorded you. If it told you it could not save, nothing did, and trying again later is worth it.

Every email we send carries a way to leave, and leaving deletes the address. You can also write to us and ask, and we will delete it.

A planning app holds far more than an email address — your guest list, your budget, your suppliers, your photographs. This page will be replaced before any of that exists, and the commitments it will have to keep are already written into how we are building it: your wedding is private by default, sharing is something you do deliberately, suppliers see the minimum they need to answer you, and you can take your data out or delete it.
